They are masters of light and sound, two of the strongest vibrations known to man, running them under cold water, while they do enjoy it, or bathing them in moon light (they like this too!) is not a necessity, do it for them as a gift, not because you think they are tainted in anyway!
Don't clense them treat them!
If you really want to do something nice for your crystals, take them somewhere ... resounding!
